A simple look back of what 2020 should have been like, making 2021 already full of promises as 90% have had to be postponed.

What our 2020 should have been like !

Without being in the wrong circle of vibes, we’re soon to open our 2021 bookings (like we always do since more than 10 years).

I can’t help of now making a point of looking ahead thanks this post. And honestly, maybe this one won’t be a huge of value for you. But, I really needed to write it down here.

At least, it will give a sort of exposure to my partners, all owners of those venues, who literally lived like all of us the worst year ever.

BOLD : I am beyond excited to openly list here the locations we should have been able to celebrate at some days, weeks, months ago.

Let’s make this 2020 year a positive foundation of what we will build for 2021.

Pssss…

I have some week-ends opened for your new 2021 wedding.
80% of success is showing up => now expecting to hear back from you #newlyengaged !

May | Palace Le Beauvallon, Côte d’Azur France

Launching the wedding season at beloved Palace Le Beauvallon, with a little bit more of 200 guests travelling from all over the World.

This is an amazing Palace, private hotel where to celebrate, with dozens of possibilities, where creativity has no limit but the number of days of celebration. Privatise all or nothing 🙂

June | Villa Geno, Lake Como Italy

Expecting initially around 170 guests from (mainly) Lebanon, our clients chose Villa Geno for its architecture, and easy-to-go destination.

July | Chateau Estoublon, Provence France

Our 7th destination wedding celebrated there since our first one in 2017.

I personally  can’t be tired of this Chateau from my Childhood. (yes I always knew from him as I’m native from the area) – Always different, always brilliant with an impeccable service provided by the entire team at Chateau d’Estoublon.

Can’t wait for the 2021 celebration there with you buddies !

July | Les Confines, Les Alpilles France

Imagine your stay in a typical Mas in Provence, nestled in les Alpilles surrounded by several gardens, including a remarkable one. This is what this property delivers for the intimate wedding of our clients.

Our second time there, and we can’t wait to live this family-style wedding there in less than 12 months.

August | Giardini del Fuenti, Amalfi Coast Italy

We’ve been so excited to plan this wedding as the venue is brand new for weddings on Amalfi Coast.

Overlooking the sea, several terraces where to create several key moments. The dream venue where entertaining the guests is a piece of cake.

August | Villa Erba (and more), Lake Como Italy

An epic 4 days celebration in Lake Como for our clients was planned, one day of celebration = one location. Having their big day at iconic Villa Erba, we’re on our way to embark for this wedding to take place on a Week-day now in 2021.

Looking forward to this amazing experience by the Lake again.

September | Bastide du Roy, Côte d'Azur France

A very very much well expected wedding full of Entertainement, gastronomy and flowers.

Bastide du Roy welcomed Mike Jagger & Bianca some decades ago. Next year, as we postponed the wedding, La Bastide will welcome us 🙂 And that will make a difference, ha!

September | Domaine de Murtoli, Corsica France

Corsica is the Island of wildness, authenticity. And we love playing weddings there. Being half Corsican, half Sicilian, this explains that 🙂

Again, postponed was the key as couple’s live is always the right answer. See y’all in 2021 in Corsica…

Harpers Bazaar Chateau Wedding of Alexandria & Nicholas

When Alexandria first contacted me, I was in NYC for some work with clients.

She wrote me an email, mentioning I might be the one who would be able to make her vision alive, as she had been disappointed by some of my peers.

We agreed on a meeting at Mama Coffee Shop in Tribeca. Alexandria was with her Dad. And I immediately understood I would fall in love with her.

And this is what happened. Alexandria was so detailed oriented, I knew that everything we will be able to create from scratch will be unique and over stunning.

This Couple Didn’t Believe in Love at First Sight–Until It Happened to Them!

Alexandria and Nicholas had been introduced by mutual friend. I remember perfectly when I asked Alexandria about their story. We were on our way to a stationery meeting in NYC, after the lunch we had at The Roxy Hotel Restaurant, in Tribeca still.

She told me she was not keen on big love at first sight, but when she met Nick, then she knew he was special to her. A little bit older than her (so little, very!) Alexandria thought Nick would not envisage a serious relationship with her.

This is what a love story is: He was the man of her life. And he felt the same in return.

When love is that obvious, you can even speak about #couplegoals.

The getting-ready #bridesquad

It was clear from the very beginning: The bride squad would have the entire 1st floor of the Chateau d’Estoublon for their personal use. Champagne, laughs, jewels and complicity were on program.

Time to Say I do in style!

Now all Ladies are ready. Time then for Alexandria to join the ceremony area, in the olive groves, where the man of her life is waiting for her, surrounded by their beloved guests.

Celebrating love!

Our first biggest challenge clearly defined by Alexandria?

Creating a wedding ceremony scenery worthy of a natural decor.

Morgane at  Big Day,  a very creative partner, we’ve seen these 20 meters of low bushes with wild along the aisle, open both sides literally rising from the ground. Like everything was already naturally there.

Then on top of the altar, an incredible roses furnished Arch, 2.50meters high, slightly unstructured to still create the most organic feeling.

The Ceremony, led by Kasia Wright, was also in music with string quartet from The Botticelli’s. See all vendors list at the end of the post.

It's Dinner time!

With the Star Chef Xavier Mathieu, the couple wanted a Menu Degustation with a very exclusive wine pairing of their favorites French wine.

  1. Mise en bouche : Stewed or roasted Zucchini with seasonal vegetables and edible flowers.
  2. Appetizer: Lobster tail with citrus butter (light) with spinach
  3. Entrées: Filet of lamb on provencal herbs crust, green saulce (juice of savory) + some mini stewed tomatoes and pearl oignons.
  4. Cheese selection
  5. Pre-dessert: Melon in sorbet, lavender sour/vinegar, meringue, fresh peaches, pollen, honey
  6. Dessert: Wedding Cake + 1 macaron olive oil + lemon | 1 macaron lavender + A mini aquavie bottle to serve on the same time.

We worked on a very detailed mise en table, with exclusive products selected at Maison Options, enhanced by all rentals picked at Be-Lounge.

Work had been then enlighten by talent of our floral partner Big Day Studio Design

Fly me to the moon!

You know this romantic moment, that belongs to the couple only.. the first dance!

Once the wedding cake had been tiered by the couple, then the Liveband Spyglass started to play “Something” from the Beatles.

Then, the party steered by DJ Benjamin from Discotecnik ended at 6am. We helped the guests to last longer with a yummy crepes stand. Welcome to French Parties!
