With its deep blue sea, yachts, highly regarded art, and charming towns, having a wedding in French Riviera is a synonym of a luxurious experience. Moreover, Cannes was in the top 5 list of the world’s most luxurious cities by square kilometer few weeks ago. Looking forward to hosting a wedding there? Check out the Best venues in Côte D’Azur.

Wedding in French Riviera: Top 8 venues to get Married

The French Riviera, or Côte D’Azur, is the Mediterranean coastline of the southeast corner of France. It includes Monaco, Nice, Cannes, Antibes, Saint-Tropez, and Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat.

F.Scott Fitzgerald even described the region as the “hot sweet South of France.”

Want to get married in French Riviera? I’ve prepared my favorite high-end list of venues for your big day.

1. Château Diter: a Tuscan Palazzo for extravagant weddings in French Riviera

Looking for a secret gem? Located in Grasse, one of the most famous and picturesque villages on the hills of Cannes, this Château offers a unique feeling: quiet, luxurious, and yet obviously simple. Furthermore, every corner and every stone had been chosen on purpose by the owners. In this venue, you’ll find a spectacular view, manicured gardens, and ah-mazing indoors for your wedding in French Riviera.

Above all, this vast property is perfect for weddings and celebrations from 80 to 200 guests. Likewise, with its 18 rooms, you can easily accommodate your bridal party during one night, two nights, and more.

Love everywhere

I love the long path entrance to the Property as it gives you a feeling of grandeur and yet authenticity. Equally important, you can feel the love everywhere: the love the owners placed in the creation of this Palazzo, the love that had been celebrated there…

The main terrace above is ideal to host your welcome dinner with up to 45 people.

Futhermore, I also love the way you stay close to the main building, before being allowed to go down and walk down the gardens the day after for the wedding day.

Make sure you can rent the property 4 days, 3 nights for your wedding in French Riviera: it would be a shame not to have indoor moments. It’s beautiful in every room. And don’t miss out Le Cabinet des Curiosités: Patrick Diter brought every pieces from his numerous travels… And you’ll see why curiosities had been named this way 🙂

See one of the wedding we imagined, created and produced there for Lis & Tris awe-destination wedding at Château Diter. This destination wedding had also been featured on International Blog Magnolia Rouge.

2. Domaine Le Beauvallon: your private Belle Époque palace in the Côte d’Azur

First, this private luxury estate in the Bay of Saint Tropez is the only remaining Belle Époque palace between Cannes and Marseille. Over the past century, Le Beauvallon has welcomed distinguished guests like Audrey Hepburn, Pierre Cardin, Winston Churchill, and Senator Edward Kennedy.

Above all, the good news about Le Beauvallon is that it can be booked exclusively all year round for events like weddings. As a result, you and your guests will be able to enjoy its private experience in a world of shimmering blue seas, scented hillsides, and warm starry evenings – the perfect scenario for your wedding in French Riviera. Also, the property offers reception space with or without accommodation.

Le Beauvallon is composed of a 4-floor main building with the following amenities:

  • A main suite, ‘Sky Pad’, 26 traditional suites and 14 traditional guest rooms with a total maximum occupancy of 88 people, each with en suite bathroom

Well read : 88 guests!

Needless to say that ST-Tropez bay is offering a large choices of accommodations for the guests.  (and we’re also helping and advising on this)

Last but not least: the establishment also offers a private Beach Club located between the road in front of the HOTEL and the beach:

  • Bar-terrace, jacuzzis
  • Heated swimming pool
  • “Pavillon Ito” of 300m2 – contemporary work of art by the architect Toyo Ito, a metallic and glass structure.
  • Private dock : One more detail : Private shuttle boat to the port of Saint Tropez can be organize. Only 15 minutes of Sail, while it could take more than 1hr30 of drive in peak season. Easy to make a decision, isn’t it?

Happy to plan you next wedding there as I know each corner of the Property since we have already planned a destination there (175 guests ish)

3. Villa La Vigie: the former home of Karl Lagerfeld

Nestled in a leafy setting overlooking the bay of Monte-Carlo, this property had an illustrious resident: Karl Lagerfeld. The stylist completely renovated its 600 square meters area in the 1980s, while offering a 237 sqm Terrace.

To sum-up, it offers six bedrooms, four bathrooms, two dressing rooms, and high-end facilities. You can host up to 300 people for a cocktail there.

I would recommend a wedding there for 80-120 guests, to make sure you’ll enjoy every spaces offered by the property.

For your wedding in French Riviera, you’ll find a modern and sophisticated decor with marble, columns, fireplaces, parquet flooring, and a high ceiling.

Villa La Vigie is also rounded off with a stunning garden, an outdoor jacuzzi, and a terrace with breath-taking views of the bays of Monaco and Roquebrune-Cap-Martin.

Fine cuisine

And last but, not least : don’t think I’m only fine-dining obsessed (I mean, I am… But have quite few other obsessions, ha!). Villa La Vigie offers the very talented and creative cuisine from the Monte Carlo Beach, by :

  • Head Chef: Pascal Garrigues. The chef pays homage to the Mediterranean with healthy, authentic cuisine at one with nature.
  • Pastry Chef: Giuseppe Vitrani. Mouth-watering and magical, the Chef’s creations will take your event to the next level.
  • Head Baker: Thomas Subrin. Winner of the Meilleur Ouvrier de France, Thomas never fails to rise to the occasion, transforming flour, salt, yeast and water into a hearty dose of cheer.

I love Villa La Vigie so much. Every corner there is full of elegance but also brings creativity to the extra miles. From aesthetic to wow-views, I adore the team we have there to imagine your unique moments on site.

Bonus tip : As I also create many outdoor receptions, see how to plan a garden style wedding in France.
