Muriel was absolutely phenomenal to work with. We entrusted her with planning our overseas elopement, and she exceeded every expectation. From the first meeting to the final detail, she was organized, responsive, and truly invested in making our day perfect. Her vendor recommendations were spot-on, her communication was clear and timely, and she made planning from another country feel completely seamless.
Our wedding day was flawless—every element came together beautifully thanks to her behind-the-scenes coordination. Muriel has such a gift for turning a vision into reality and doing it all with warmth and grace. We can’t thank her enough for creating a day that felt so personal and unforgettable.
I have made a lot of difficult decisions in my life and choosing a wedding planner in another country certainly ranks up there with some of the most stressful. Let me now follow up with it was the BEST decision I have ever made and never once looked back to question my decision. Muriel is absolutely INCREDIBLE! She is so organized and has the most exquisite taste while at the same time respecting our budget (no matter how much I tried to add extras lol.) Living in the United States we were not able to visit our destination wedding location or venue before having to commit. We fully put our trust in her and after she spoke with myself and now husband and learned a little about our taste she recommended a few venues that were all just as beautiful as the next. While explaining the positive and negatives to each. She was so honest and had so much knowledge of each we easily made our decision for what our needs and desires were at that time. We were able to get over about 6 months before the wedding date to see the venue and try the food that would be served at the wedding. WOW! This was such a treat in itself because Muriel met us there at the train station and spent 3 days with us taking us around Como and letting us meet each vendor. Our photographer who she also recommended (Valéry Villard) was able to attend and capture every moment. Sunlake catering hosted us at Villa Flori for a taste testing and we instantly knew we would have them cater. Just incredible!
As it got closer to the big day Muriel was there every step of the way. Communication was spot on. There was not a step she missed while also helping me make decisions and choose what I absolutely needed vs what I wanted and maybe could or could not cut. Her recommendations were always on point and we felt more than comfortable saying to our friends and family when they had questions “we haven’t seen but Muriel recommended so it’s going to be beautiful.” I’m not sure when she sleeps because she always responded so quickly to any questions that jumped into my head at all hours.
A few days before we were supposed to head out for the wedding our beautiful home town was hit by two hurricanes. Muriel was constantly in touch during this time supporting us and involving the vendors as our numbers were changing due to the destruction of storm people weren’t able to get out. She has the most supportive team that was there working with us each step of the way.
Finally, the big day arrived and it was the most beautiful day of our lives. As I type this I’m smiling reflecting it was a fairytale that she made come true. Nothing was missed… I had zero stress as to how it was going to run or how it would unfold. Everything we had talked about and planned for the past year she created and made my vision come to life. If I could give 10 stars I would! There’s really no words to truly thank Muriel and her team for making the whole experience perfect! If you are trying to decide on a wedding planner look no further the international wedding planner will make all your dreams come true! Thank you again Muriel…you are now a friend for life ❤️
Eight months ago, all we knew was that we wanted to get married this summer. We had a clear vision of what we wanted it to look like, but no clue how or where to make it happen. We met with a few planners, but after our first meeting with Muriel it was obvious. She had clear next steps, was actionable, responsive, and immediately made the process feel possible even in the short time we had. She helped us narrow down locations and venues and landed us at Villa Erba in Lake Como, which couldn’t have been a better fit. She understood our style/vision immediately and brought in vendors that matched it but what also really stood out was how relentless she was about getting our ideas across to them -she pushed when she needed to and protected the details we cared about.
We ended up with a three day celebration, each with its own mood (with welcome drinks and boat brunch tour). Muriel planned and suggested things that made the whole thing feel layered and fun. On the wedding day at Villa Erba, everything went exactly to plan. She also accommodated last-minute requests without hesitation, dealing with everything quietly in the background so it all felt easy and flawless.
What we appreciated most was that she wasn’t just managing logistics — she was present. Her interactions with us and even our guests felt genuine, which made the whole experience more personal and human. Couldn’t recommend working with her enough!
Where do we start? Muriel and Audrey have been nothing short of incredible. The International Wedding Planner service is expensive but it’s worth every single penny. Our needs and vision were listened to, Muriel brought it to life and so much more. From finding vendors, coming up with ideas and supporting us when we felt stressed, they have been brilliant. On the day itself, Muriel just came into her own. She managed everything, I felt relaxed and calm. Our day was perfect, we couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you!!! Book these lovely ladies xx
The most important choice when getting married is of course the person you marry. The second most important choice you make is the wedding planner. Muriel Saldalamacchia is so much more than a wedding planner. She was our guide and muse, championing our cause with vendors (all wonderful) and keeping us focused on the many decisions we had to make. Muriel is a warm, caring and kind person with a serious commitment to joy and beauty. Those qualities made what is otherwise a trying and difficult time an incredible ride! Muriel is the best of the best. She is not only organized, trustworthy, and detail oriented, but she treats her clients like family. She has a very high taste level and is very meticulous. Her vendor connections and venue relationships in both provence and lake como area are invaluable. She thinks 10 steps ahead, I felt at ease on my wedding day, and the months leading up knowing that she had everything running flawlessly. I cannot recommend her enough.
Muriel made the process of organising our weeding easy. Like all weddings, we wanted something special, something to "wow" our guests. As were do not live in France, Muriel visited locations and we viewed them via live video calls. She helped us to find quality caterers, photographers, and decorators. She demanded excellence from every one of the suppliers and our guests were impressed. It was a wonder day for us and our guest!!!
We told Muriel our budget and she help us to achieve what we wanted under budget. We were treated as if we were the only client she had, and made to feel important even though we had only a small budget.
