Top 8 venues for weddings in Provence

The region’s romantic landscapes and luxurious venues have been attracting couples worldwide who want to get married in France.

I’ve prepared a list for you of my preferred places to get married in Provence whether you’re trying to have a fine-curation of venues where your dream wedding could take place.

1. Château d’Estoublon | The most iconic Chateau ever !

Vineyards or olive groves? Courtyard or Roseraie gardens? Why choose just one when you have it all in one place? If you are looking forward to entertaining your guests with different events, this elegant and modern château is perfect. Here you can have a welcome party in the vineyards, the wedding ceremony in the courtyard, and a hangover brunch/pool party, for example.

This venue also provides ten sumptuous rooms, where you can easily organize an entire stay there (maximum 24 people to sleep) for your four days wedding celebration. The outdoor area is comfortable for up to 250 guests. See a testimonial from a couple that got married in this venue.

We already created and planned 8 weddings in Provence at this iconic Chateau, and each of them had been very different. Château d’Estoublon is definitely inspiring! You won’t regret any cents spent there.

2. Les Confines | Authentic Mas with remarkable gardens

Dreaming of a charming garden wedding? Located ten minutes from the beautiful St. Rémy-de-Provence, Les Confines might be a good fit for your outdoor ceremony. This property’s gardens have been lauded in numerous publications like The International Herald Tribune and The New York Times. One of its most charming areas is the African Garden & Pool, which is great for holding events. For a wedding reception, you can have a maximum of 80 guests.

In Les Confines, you’ll also find a Provencal house for your stay. With ten bedrooms, it is recommended for a maximum of 16 adults. Outside the main house, there is the stunning Garden Room, an ample space perfect for indoor dining.

We also planned and created several weddings in Provence at Les Confines, and this place is ideal for a several days staycation while having your wedding celebration there. Make sure to organise the week’s rental with your wedding at the beginning, so you’ll enjoy the days after the wedding on site for a memorable provençal chill

3. Bastide de Gordes | Your wedding in a Palace!

On the heights of Gordes, one of the most beautiful villages in France, La Bastide dominates the landscapes of the Luberon. This former stately home is a concentrate of history and French refinement. The beauty of the place and the architecture of the buildings are unique and will give your celebration a fantastic cachet. On the terrace or in the suspended gardens, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view over the Luberon valley and the Alpilles.

The hotel’s interior has preserved the entire history of the building and elegantly restores the 18th-century style. Its gastronomy will also offer a unique and personalized experience, with its refined traditional cuisine using the best regional and Mediterranean products.

I particularly love the garden vibes of this very unique hotel. While being nestled in Gordes, hosting your outdoor wedding in Provence in Bastide de Gordes brings your wedding venue in provence a touch of elegance and timeless aesthetic.

4. Château de Tourreau | Embrace la Vie de Chateau like insiders!

Located at the heart of Provence, between Orange and Avignon, and surrounded by vines, the Château de Tourreau offers charming private spaces like the château courtyard, the patio at the water’s edge, the swimming pool.

For the best day of your life, the estate’s outdoor areas offer several possibilities: in the middle of the French gardens, in the heart of the grounds, or around our swimming pool. In Château de Tourreau, you can have an outdoor reception for up to 150 people or use the consecrated chapel dating from 1614 that holds 70 people.

We have been blessed to have our first wedding there this year : choosing this wedding venue in Provence is a treat for your celebration. The chateau is all yours while you stay there. La vie de Château, better than in any dream.

5. Domaine Les Roullets | Secretly nestled, the place to be deserved !

Domaine Les Roullets is a boutique bed and breakfast, self-catering cottage, and vineyard located in the golden triangle of Provence. By choosing this place for your wedding, you’ll be able to enjoy its breathtaking views of the nearby Luberon mountains as well as the extensive landscaped gardens that feature lavender, olive trees, and cypresses. The property also has a small vineyard that produces excellent quality organic wine.

If you want to get married there, it is essential to know that they offer only the venue rental and both the ceremony and reception should be celebrated in their gardens, with a maximum of 100 guests.

We loved planning two weddings at this venue in Provence. Our preferred time of the year to get married there was summer. Hot at day, and cool at night: the perfect combo for a very unique experience in Provence.

Last detail to know : with only 1 wedding every 30 days (to ensure quiet moments to their beloved neighbors) there are only few spots available per year to host your wedding.

6. Hôtel de Caumont | Inviting culture to your wedding.

Dated from the 18th century, this is one of the most beautiful private mansions in Aix-en-Provence. There, couples find a paved three-sided courtyard and more than 1000 m² of private gardens. At the same time, they offer five salons, where you can do a reception for 40 to 140 guests.

The venue stands out for its refined decor, which recreates the atmosphere and aesthetic sophistication of the 18th century.

There, it is possible to have a Wedding with 40 to 140 guests. Even though, we’re excited for an intimate wedding to plan at this historical Hotel for 60-80 people. So many lovely details on site, surrounded by a very devoted team. We’re awaiting for you!

7. Mas d’Eden. Even not every locals know this gem!

At a throw’s stones distance of Saint Remy de Provence, this luxury private house offers remarkable different gardens and spaces as well as breathtaking natural sites of rare beauty. The place is surrounded by grass, and olive trees – the perfect scenario for your wedding.

There, you’ll get the chance to surprise your guests with many different corners.

We love this Mas as it really looks like a renovated farm house you could see in Martha Weddings or Towns and Country. All different rooms, genuine and manicured gardens, plane trees..
