Destination wedding in Corsica at exclusive Domaine de Murtoli, by Muriel Saldalamacchia.

#TheFamilyFirstWedding

A THREE-DAYS-WEDDING | 5 RECEPTIONS

Number of guests : 58

Venue : Domaine de Murtoli, Southern Corsica

Ambiance : Definitely exclusive wedding dedicated to the Family and happy few friends gathered by this French former pro-soccer player and his wife-to-be.  Sea, food and Corsican’s spirit where the main priorities of the whole wedding experience.

8 months of planning process.

12 very selected vendors, gathered to be part of this destination wedding in Corsica.

*

When family matters above all!

Sarah and Xavier

One call! Everything started with a phone call, that I was clearly not ready to have. Usually – at that time – brides don’t phone. They send email first.

But Sarah is different. She proudly assumes that she’s not geek-friendly, and that she hates – really hates, email’s communication.

« I wanted to hear your voice, and feel your voice! I rely on human relationships, and by phone was at least the most suitable way to connect with you ».

Now, you have the temperature ^_^

We decided to meet in Provence as they were in the area to celebrate a birthday. Xavier’s 30th A.

We met in a café, in late morning, and I immediately had a crush for them. Both!

He looked very relax and cool.

She looked more demanding.

I walked into a trap! Ha!

Xavier had been super involved during the whole planning process, as Sarah was super confident in anything we worked on.

8 months that ran so fast! The couple was very busy in lot of projects and I had to be very efficient for the few times we had together.

We were on the same page > and this is why the Destination Wedding in Corsica was purely successful!

How about the weather in April, in South of Corsica? No stress> we had a cocktail hour on the beach for the main day, with a super romantic sunset and its 27° C | 80° F

3 days of destination wedding in Corsica = 5 receptions

Friday > Welcome drinks on one of the beach of the property at 4pm

Friday evening > Welcome Dinner at 7.30pm at the Cave.

Saturday lunch > Corsican lunch delivered in wicker baskets for everyone.

Saturday evening > Cocktail hour on the beach + Dinner at the Main Farm.

Sunday morning > Brunch on the Terrasse in front of the Golf.

I told you : it was a blessed moment, as it is rare to live.

Thank you for having me for this great part of your life!

#TheCountrySideWedding

Number of guests : 84

Venue : Such a great opportunity > the wedding – the whole reception – took place in the Summer residence of the Bride’s family.

Ambiance : Definitely countryside, with a romantic touch without being too girly to fit the groom’s expectations for their marriage in Luberon.

10 months of planning process.

Up to 16 very selected vendors, gathered to be part of this « Spanish » country side wedding in Luberon.

From Costa-Rica to Lubéron.

Justine & Rafa.

One day, an email received between Christmas and New Year’s Eve : « Hi, we are currently spending some holidays in Luberon, can we meet before we fly back to Costa Rica to discuss about our wedding to come? »

One phone call and one meeting later, we officially started our wedding-relationship.

The expectations? Clearly listed. The briefing was clear, the budget set up. We were ready to move forward on the planning process. One last thing to fix ? the dat for the marriage ^^.

It will be in October. Stastically speaking, October is fantastic in Luberon, Provence.  And the story revealed we made a great choice with more than 25° C. (77°F.), it was a late-summer country side wedding.

To remember: it has been one the most challenging wedding to handle as the Spanish culture is a little unknown in this area of the country. We has to include the Groom’s cultural roots in any single details.

We did it. With a very patient team, only focused and dedicated to the bride and groom’s satisfaction, we all lived a fantastic wedding. A memorable one.

The kind of wedding we always be proud to be part of.

3 days of wedding = 3 receptions

#AsSimpleasLuxurious inProvence

Number of guests : 62

Wedding Venue : A splendid and extraordinary House with remarkable gardens in Saint Rémy de Provence area.

Ambiance : Mixing luxury and simple elegance with this three days wedding receptions.

12 months of planning process.

21 vendors gathered to be part of this very luxury destination wedding in Provence.

From Switzerland to Provence.

Sophie & Stephane.

If you ask Sophie what was the spirit of her wedding, she would answer you: « It was a very simple but elegant wedding ».

Erm… I know that simplicity is really hard to obtain. A lot of work. And it’s everything that I love to work on. It’s my motto!

We work hard, very hard to create this exquisite wedding.

3 days of wedding = 3 receptions = 3 different scenographic decors.

From the invitation and the wedding-website, we mentioned the dress code and all the timeline of the three days.

As a result, this wedding had an unforgettable taste to my mind and my heart.

Very unique, far in details, sweet moments and a world of diamonds, gastronomy and elegance.

I am Sophie and Stephane’s addict <3

Number of guests : 44

Wedding Venue : Gorgeous wedding venue between Les Alpilles and Camargue.

Ambiance : Unconventional wedding with a personal celebration.

5 months of planning process.

11 vendors gathered to be part of this very festive destination wedding in Provence.

Jackie and Patrick.

When I received their first e-mail I had been immediately seduced by the words they used.

« An intimate wedding, comfortable, happiness, international

Focus:  french gastronomy, lavender, steam punk, tomatoes! »

Less than 60 minutes later we were connected and we officially began our work together six days later :=)

We learnt from each other, we laughed so much. All the planning process was as sweet as efficient.

Jackie was everything but classic. Patrick had french roots. We had to mix it all.

And.. we all agree today that it was a huge success.

A three days destination wedding in Provence as perfect as festive!

Jackie, Patrick, we all miss you! Next trip > Mountain View!

Number of guests : 92 + 20 kids

Wedding Venue : Gorgeous wedding venue in Aix en Provence’s area

Ambiance : Joyful and festive.

7 months of planning process.

11 vendors gathered to be part of this very festive destination wedding in Provence.

Myriam.. I rarely met a bride so discret, with such a strong personality and love for her family and friends.

Already married when they contacted me, Myriam & Marc wanted to celebrate their religious wedding with a festive and joyful party, while summer was coming.

Next thing you know, we were happily convinced that we couldn’t waste time, energy neither bad expenses.

We had only 7 months to plan their dream wedding with few [very few] moments that we could spend together.

Being on the same wavelength had been our best value.

We were meant to rock together.

Nicole & Laurent| July, 2016

« Thank you for all of your help planning our wedding and especially for keeping us sane during the final sprint! We could not have had the wedding of our dreams without you. You made everything come together even when we had problems to deal with.

Your grace under pressure is remarkable, something to aspire to.«

#TheVioujasProject

Number of guests : 71 – Adults Only

Wedding Venue : a genuine provençal Bastide

Ambiance : Elegant outdoor wedding

13 months of planning process.

18 vendors gathered to be part of this awesome destination wedding in Provence.

Nicole is the perfect American bride-to-be! With her so-French first name, she was meant to be married to a real French and romantic man: Laurent!

When we first met, a great sign came. The hour following our first Skype, Laurent had to help their neighbors to move. To thank Laurent, they gifted him with a bottle of French wine, whose name was… Muriel.

I guess things really do happen for a reason.

We had 13 months of real exchanges, of fun, of laughs ( a lot of!!!).

And for administrative reasons, we just met once in Provence before the week of the wedding.

So much responsibilities to help them chose the good vendor, the good detail, despite our thousands miles away.

Dozens of Skype© early in the morning, 274 emails chains,  thousands of WhatsApp© chats. We did it! We enjoyed spending time together. I mean, being together. And we still do!

This is exactly all the main reasons why the destination wedding in Provence was a great success!

L.Ø.V.E. you Nicole & Laurent! Miss you from now on and ever <3

#ProvenceOutdoorWedding

Number of guests : 95

Wedding Venue : Privatized Mas (provencal farmhouse) amongst 7.000 olive-trees.

Ambiance : Casual and friendly.

13 months of planning process.

27 vendors gathered to be part of this fun destination wedding in Provence.

Fabienne… Charles…

Two first names, synonymous with giggles. Tons of giggles full of spirituality and cleverness, and, I must admit, same tons of giggles clearly less… clever!

Evening Skypes to spend time and focus on each details, like being in the same sofa, even our 800km of difference.

Fabienne & Charles both hate to be too serious. Even if they were always very focused and determined on how to make the best decisions on each details I ask them to work on.

To my prospective, this is exactly why and how we managed this SO-PERFECT outdoor wedding.

We trust each other, all the time! It was fantastic and precious!

Location : 3 different wedding venues during these 3 days of wedding and their 4 receptions.

Ambiance : Nature and elegance.

3 months of planning.

18 vendors needed for this destination wedding in Provence.

One day.. an e-mail.. Then first Skype.. Second Skype a,d I have a crush for this couple.

First of all, this wedding is very challenging. For the ones who know me, challenges are everything to me. But I really had a crush for Selina, the bride-to-be.

Smile, kindness, cultured… All evidences about her real and deep human-being.

This all will be one of my lifetime experience.

3 wedding days with 4 receptions + 1 religious ceremony…

A real and exciting wedding team’s challenge. And we did it!

Excerpt of the #LavenderWedding in Provence with Bridget & Olivier – United States /Provence  | October, 2015

#TheLavenderWedding

Number of guests : 85

Location : A privatized MAS, in Maussane les Alpilles, in a 7.000 olive-trees field.

Wedding Mood : Elegance and natural in Provence. A great combination of US & French traditions.

8 months of planning

23 vendors needed for this #LavenderWedding in Provence

End of January, while I was in NYC, I received an e-mail, with some questions. Read instead!

« Which of our date possibilities do you have open ? (August 8, 6, 22, 29, September 5, 12, 19, 26, October 3, 10)

Do you have experience with international weddings?  (French-American ?)
Do you speak English and French ? What are your services ?
What kind planning do you offer? Logistical only (i.e. organizational—handling things like the timeline and floor plan) or Design and Logistical (i.e. bringing a client’s vision to life as well as taking care of all the organizational aspects of the wedding)?
How do you charge for your services? Hourly, percentage of the wedding cost, or flat rate?
Have you worked in les Alpilles, near Fontvieille ? »

No fear at all ^^ Skype, some exchanges; questions /answers. In few words : the time had been taken to discover ourselves! 5 wedding planner’s agencies in competition to seduce this couple with high requirements.

Finally, my ideas, combined to my expert evaluation, my French/American culture and this inexplicable alchemy, it is barely some days later than the adventure was start-uping officially!

Some short months dedicated to the planning calendar:  the jam-packed diaries of the couple mixed with the imperatives of the planning, it is thanks to all of the tools we set up that we could have been super efficient :p This is how we were able go ahead on details and planning.

I spent more than delicious moments with both of the families, American and French. We shared, we discussed a lot, and so we found the best compromises.

We had a blast !

Number of guests : 77 guests

Location : A Castle in Aix en Provence area.

Wedding mood : Vintage

11 months of planning.

12 vendors needed for this destination wedding in Provence.

To rely on your wedding planner is not obviously an easy thing when you live far… very faraway one of the other. However, even though it is my daily work, I am always delighted when I feel  more than useful when the bride-to-be is stressed out … stressed out … stressed out, from the very first second of the planning.

Challenge : imagine and plan a wedding which must not like a… wedding!

Just picking up the wedding codes, divert them.

Excerpt of the Wedding in Ibiza of Maya & Philippe – Toulouse | September, 2015

#TheGlamourousWedding

Number of guests : 63 guests

Location : A sumptuous Villa, privatized, on top of the hills, and a secluded cala.

Wedding Mood : White night.

9 months of planning.

24 vendors needed for this Wedding in Ibiza, on the shore.

The first and only wish was :  » a wedding ceremony on a beach or a shore, , with a carpet on which I will walk down the aisle, up to my husband to be ». Ok! At this time, we already knew that the locations’s choice will be cornelian. From Barcelona, to Santorini, or Amorgos, we decided to pull off our suitcases onto Ibiza.

After a first trip on site , we were so sad to discover that standards in Ibiza, and standards in France were clearly different. We finally found the perfect villa. An incredible view on Mediteranean sea, a sunbeam we could only sea in romantics ans iconics movies..

A well dipped organization, with on-the-spot committed professionals, including some of them that we bring from France. The whole to be coordinated with about sixty guests to whom we have to plan the travels, accommodations and festivities once arrived on the spot.

An wedding full of caring, fun and culture!
